Eric started a quest in 1989 that would eventually make him a pillar of the Halifax garage scene. The first part of what would eventually become the entire Pellon Tyre and Autocentre was purchased. A man who owned the buildings at the time had to retire soon after due to poor health. This unanticipated chance created the groundwork for a flourishing and well-respected neighbourhood company that has been providing automotive services to Halifax residents for more than 30 years.

Pellon Autocentre was initially just a little business. The company’s founder, Eric, had a clear vision: to give each and every client that walked through the doors honest, dependable, and knowledgeable service. Her passing had a significant impact on everyone at the center, but the company’s principles and practices still bear her legacy.
